Medium Cool, Haskell Wexler's pseudo-journalism documentary about news photographers, partly set at the 1968 Democratic National Convention, and incorporating actual footage from that convention. The film stars Robert Forster, Verna Bloom, Peter Bonerz, and Haskell Wexler. Medium Cool is one of the iconic motion pictures from the late 1960's counter-culture era.
Note also that this was one of the rare mainstream movies that (like Midnight Cowboy) was released with an "X" rating, but because some theaters refused to show such movies, the major studios stopped releasing X rated movies soon after.
