I Am Curious Yellow 1967 27x41 Original U.S Release One Sheet

I Am Curious (Yellow), the 1969 sex melodrama and pseudo-documentary by Swedish director Vilgot Sjoman and starring Lena Nyman, Vilgot Sjoman, Peter Lindgren, Marie Goranzon, Borje Ahlstedt, Chris Wahlstrom, Magnus Nilsson, and Ulla Lyttkens. 

Though this notorius film preceeded the MPAA movie rating system by a couple years, with its reputation and graphic sex scene, it will forever be associated with adult films and the "X" rating. Note that this movie was banned from entering the United States, and then was allowed to be shown after a court case. The banning concerned a graphic sex scene, but actually the movie was not a "sex movie" but rather an interesting pseudo-documentary, using elements of cinema verite, and is an important movie of the 1960s. But thanks to the publicity over the court case and the way it was subsequently marketed in the United States,  it will be forever remembered as an early "sex movie" even though it was not!
