Son Of The Sheik original movie poster R38 Rudolph Valentino 27x41

Son of the Sheik, George Fitzmaurice's Arabian silent desert adventure melodrama sequel  to Valentino's box-office hit The Sheik. Starring Rudolph Valentino, Vilma Banky, Karl Dane and Montague Love.

This 81 year old poster is in fair to good condition but does have some fold line separation and tears as shown in the attached images. Notice what appears to be a hole just off Valentino’s shoulder is actually a small piece folded back as shown in one of the attached images. There is also some staining from water.

Though this poster is undated and for many years identified as a 1930s re-release by various auctions and dealers, it does has a litho number. Comparing this number to other litho numbers taken from other movie posters of the 1930's, it has been determined that this poster is from 1938. Our watermark is on the image only and not the poster.
