Alida Valli

The Third Man, director Carol Reed's classic 1949 crime film noir mystery thriller starring Joseph Cotten, Orson Welles, Alida Valli, Trevor Howard, Paul Horbiger and Bernard Lee. The film features a memorable zither soundtrack by Austrian composer Anton Karas. All 5 of these 8.75"x11" German lobby cards are in good condition. Each has a few scuffs and pin holes scattered in various areas. They have not been trimmed. Each card was glued to a stiff board as was common in Switzerland where they were intended to be displayed. Each of the boards have metal grommets inserted into each corner, to make displaying of the cards easier.

The 24.75"x28.75" poster is in very good condition and though it was originally folded, it will be shipped rolled in a tube.

Loosely based on Shakespeare's Hamlet. Poster artwork by Jouineau Bourduge. The poster measures 23.5"x31.5".

The poster is in good condition but there is separation along parts of the vertical foldline that was once repaired with tape from the back.
